Fighting homophobia in sport one survey at a time

The first global study on homophobia in sport is now underway. 'Out on the Fields' was initiated by the organisers of Bingham Cup Sydney 2014, the world cup of gay rugby, working in partnership with the You Can Play Project, which helps professional sporting organisations tackle homophobia. Researchers have been studying the issue for a number of years, but this is the first time an international survey has been conducted.
