Come and join in for the second Learn to Run programme of 2017 where in 15 weeks we will get you from no running to 30 minutes non-stop! For week 1, we will run for 1 minute, then walk (briskly) for 1.5 minutes. Each week we basically add a minute on to the length of the running interval, keeping the walking breaks to 2 or 3 minutes, until eventually, you can go for half an hour and you'll be able to do 5K no bother!
This will be on at the same time as EFR's usual sessions, which are:
Wednesday, 6.50pm for 7pm start at the Royal Commonwealth Pool
Saturday, 9.50am for 10am start at Glenogle Swim Centre
Learn to Run participants must become members of the club for insurance purposes. Membership is only £15 a year (£5 for students/unwaged) and you get an EFR vest as well! Please sign up using the membership form on our website - find 'Become A Member' under the 'About' tab.
