Our famous Learn to Run programme will be starting again on 10th January 2018, so if you have a NY Resolution to get your trainers on and get moving, then come and do it with us and make friends along the way. The aim is to build you up to 30 min (usually about 5K) in 12 weeks. Everything is taken at your own pace, so you'll be able to do it, and be surprised by your progress!
So, now we've got your interest... Where and When?
WEDNESDAYS: the Royal Commonwealth Pool, 6.50pm for 7pm start. We will run around the Meadows to start with, and the Innocent Railway when it gets a bit lighter.
SATURDAYS: Glenogle Swim Centre, 9.50am for 10am start. We will run either around Inverleith Park or the cycle paths of North Edinburgh. The programme is a repeat of the preceding Wednesday's session.
For insurance purposes, all participants must become members of Edinburgh Frontrunners before attending. Membership costs £15, or £5 for unwaged/students. Please sign up here.
Every session will be lead by a JogScotland trained JogLeader, there to encourage you and guide you in your first running steps. If you've done LtR before and want to go again, we'll be happy to see you. It's also an excellent way to come back into running after an injury or long break!!
