Safeguarding

Safeguarding statement:
Edinburgh Frontrunners takes the welfare of all our members and our community extremely seriously. The Club has a responsibility to protect people from harm, abuse and exploitation and to safeguard their wellbeing. This extends to developing and applying consistent and robust safeguarding procedures in relation to any safeguarding concerns. Our club adopts the Scottish Athletics Adult Safeguarding Policy and Procedures, links to which can be found below.
We ask that all of our members and visitors agree to abide by our code of conduct and that they read and follow the Safeguarding Policy and Procedures below.
As per the Scottish Athletics Adult Safeguarding Procedures we have a nominated Welfare Officer: Annabel.
Should you have any concerns about yourself or another club member please report your concern straight away to our Welfare Officer via efrwelfare@gmail.com using the safeguarding report form. The Welfare Officer will then get in touch to discuss your concerns and carry out a fact-finding investigation.

No concern is too small. Members should always feel that they can raise a concern or question anything that doesn’t look or feel right.
